ABOUT OUR EVENT

The Tonbridge Triathlon has been running since 1994, and is one of the largest events in our towns social calendar. It has been organized by the Tonbridge Lions Club since inception, and is a large source of revenue for various local charities and charitable causes in our community.

 

We are fortunate enough to have been donated the facilities of the sports centre at Tonbridge School, and we work with many other volunteer organisations to make this event a success, such as the Tonbridge Air Cadets and Kent Police Cadets, who help to provide marshaling for the event, alongside professional marshaling for the cycle aspect and the guidance of British Triathlon referees.

This year we will have four Photographers on site.

We are very please to announce that this year we will be supporting the Christmas Distribution to the needy and disadvantaged in tonbridge. Last Christmas over 200 people received food vouchers, this year we intend to raise that to over 300 with a contribution from the Tonbridge Triathlon of at least £1000
